MSNBC says she's bailing altogether, getting out of politics for good. Sarah Palin announced today that she's resigning as governor of Alaska effective the end of July.I say she's just clearing her schedule. She's not going to announce that she's running for President. She's going to make a half dozen speeches a month around the country at 40 grand a pop for the next year or two. She'll network, she'll do plenty of GOP and conservative howdy-do's, she'll connect with people she needs connections with, and she'll not ever have fewer than one toe in the water at all times.

Guys, I agree the flag shouldn't be used as a prop. It looks like that's what happened in this picture. Not good.
In her hand? Not sure but if you read the interview she mentions that her kids finally talked her out of the CD player she used to carry when she runs so maybe it's an iPod, mp3 player something? Dunno.
If you look at the enlarged photo, the thing in her hand looks like a book of some kind. Should have left the flag out of it; these Republicans!
